Our classroom is a TAB style set up, which stands for Teaching Artist Behavior.  Each week a new center full of supplies will open for use.  We will start by stretching and exploring...that's how artists experiment with materials and ideas.  Then we will research and plan like an artist to further concentrate our ideas.  Next, we will make art!  At the beginning of the term, we will use themes in our work. As you get better and better at the design process, you will begin choosing your own theme! Finally, we will present our work online to a site called PADLET.  The links to the class galleries can be accessed on CLEVER.

 

If you are going to be absent for an extended amount of time, for whatever reason, please email me so I can give you the theme and you can go through the design process at home.
