Congratulations to our Siegel Middle Cross Country Team this weekend on completing their second meet. The meet was the Oakland Invitational held at "The Grove" this past Saturday. All athletes did an outstanding job of representing our school and having excellent sportsmanship. A special shout-out goes to 7th grader Hunter Broughton, *th grader Carsen Bigelow, and 8th grader Carlos Gonzalez for receiving ribbons at the award ceremony. We are so proud of you!! Our next meet will be held Sat. the 14th, at Riverdale High School. Come out that morning and support us if you can!! Go Cavaliers!!
Anyone interested in being creative, making cool things and hanging out with other artsy folk, should consider signing up for an arts and crafternoons event. Arts and crafternoons is a monthly, afterschool. pay as you go artmaking event for all students and staff who work here at Siegel Middle. This month we will be making a handbuilt clay bowl. The cost is $10 and permission slips are due by next Monday, Sept. 16th. The event will take place a week from tomorrow, Tuesday the 17th from 3:15-5:00. Look on the auditorium door, go to room 406A or visit Ms. Gray's webpage for more details.
