Did you know that there are approximately 1500 school-aged children in Rutherford County that are homeless. This means that their family does not have a home of their own. They often live in shelters, in homeless camp sites, on the streets, with relatives or friends, and move frequently.
Beginning next Monday Jan. 13th, FCCLA will do a two-week donation drive for cold weather comfort items. These items include new beanies, gloves, socks, and scarves. Items will be collected through your mini-school. The winning homeroom donating the most items will win a food reward, and the winning mini-school will earn time outside.

Beginning Jan. 13th, we will start our new attendance rewards. For the month of January, we will have two attendance rewards to earn.
1st reward--The grade with the highest attendance rate for Jan. 13th thru 24th will earn extra outside time.
2nd reward-- Any student who is present every day form Jan. 13th thru 31st, you will be entered in a drawing to earn a free lunch seating pass.
