Any student who is interested in writing articles for The Cavalier Chronicle needs to see Mrs. Beightol in Room 303 for a permission form. The Cavalier Chronicle is a student written newsletter that goes out with report cards. Students who write for the Chronicle will have due dates before the end of each quarter. Meetings will take place in the morning, with the first meeting taking place on August 22nd, at 7:15 in Mrs. Beightol's room. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Beightol.
This is a reminder that Beta Club service hours are due by Friday, August 18th to Mrs. Cheuvront in Room 211. These are only due for those wishing to try out for State Convention or run for office.
All students who are interested in being part of the cast or the crew of The Little Mermaid, Jr. need to get a parent permission form from either Mrs. Beightol (Room 303) or Ms. Park (Room 106) during non-academic times. This form is for both cast and crew and MUST be turned in before attending your first meeting.
The first drama club meeting for cast is on August 16th, from 3:15 to 5:00 in the auditorium. This meeting is mandatory for anyone interested in trying out. There will be a new parent meeting immediately following the end of the student meeting. The first meeting for those interested in Tech Crew is September 5th from 3:15 to 5:00 in the auditorium.
All boys who were on the soccer team last year need to meet with Coach Adcock in Room 405A after announcements.
FCA is a student-led Christian club that meets in the library every Friday morning. Our first meeting will be Friday, September 8th. All club participants must have a signed permission form (new county policy) to attend meetings. The form can be found on the FCA club page or picked up from Mrs. McKinzie in Room 203.
