Attention to all those who like to sing! It is time to sign up for choir next year.  6th and 7th graders interested in choir should sign up on the choir page.  Use the Siegel Middle website and click "Clubs & Activities".  8th graders interested in choir and musical theater at the high school need to sign up for an audition time with the high school director.  8th grade auditions are next week and the sign-up is in the 800 hallway.
 
We will have a Beta Club meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:15 am for all members-6th, 7th and 8th grade in the music room.
 
Volleyball tryouts for current students will be Friday, May 24th from 10:30-12:00.  Please make sure all required paperwork is uploaded into Final Forms.
 
Siegel Future Stars Football Camp at Siegel High School is May 29th-30th, from 6:00-8:00 pm, for grades 3-8.  Cost is $50.00 per camper.  Will include offensive/defensive skill work, daily competitions, and will work directly with the Siegel Varsity Staff.  Contact is:  Brian Watson (615-636-3070) [email protected].
 
Tryouts for the summer boys basketball team will be May 24th from 3-6 pm.  Please have your final forms 100% complete with a physical dated after April 15th.  Spring practice for those already on the team will begin May 1st, right after school!
 
Girl's basketball tryouts will be May 13th. You must have a current physical and be in Final Forms.
 
Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance along with Ascension Saint Thomas and Results Physiotherapy will be offering free pre-participation exams for prospective Rutherford County middle and high school student athletes on Saturday, May 4, 2024.  
 
Exams will be at TOA, 1800 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro. (Not at individual schools!)
 
Please have the correct form and all parent/guardian signatures filled out at the time of arrival.  Athletes without completed and signed forms will not be eligible to receive an exam.  Printers will not be available the day of physicals.
 
This will be the only opportunity for athletes to receive these exams-no make up will be done.
 
Athletes should dress in shorts/t-shirts to allow physicians to evaluate extremities as needed.
 
Parents are welcome to accompany their children throughout the entire process.
 
Exams will be complimentary.
 
Please note that some medical problems detected during physical exams may require clearance from the athlete's physician.  Parents may wish to schedule a physical evaluation with their physician.
 
Each student is responsible for delivery of forms to their coaches-copies will not be available.
 
Please adhere to the scheduled times for your school listed below.  A small wait should be expected.
 
7:45 am - Smyrna High, Siegel High, Riverdale High, Siegel Middle, Smyrna Middle, Rockvale Middle, Rockvale High, Christiana Middle, Whitworth-Buchanan.
 
8:30 am - Oakland High, Blackman High, MTCS, Oakland Middle, Blackman Middle, Lancaster Christian, Thurman Francis, Eagleville, Rocky Fork Middle.
 
9:15 am - LaVergne High, Stewarts Creek High, Holloway, Rock Springs Middle, LaVergne Middle, Central Magnet, Providence Christian, Stewarts Creek Middle, FRCS.
