Science Olympiad is looking for new members! If you are interested in science, engineering, and competition, see Coach Adcock in Room 405A or Mrs. Wray in Room 207 to get an interest form. Forms are due back by August 30th. Science Olympiad is a regional competition held at MTSU in February.
Any student who would like to apply to be a student council member must complete the online application by 3:00 pm on August 23rd. The application can be found on the student council webpage.
Are you looking to strengthen your skills, forge new friendships, and make a positive difference in our community, then FCCLA is the club for you. FCCLA is recruiting new members in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. The first meeting will be held on Monday, September 26th, in Room 404, from 3:15-4:30. Pick up a parent letter and permission slip from Mrs. Boone in 404 or in Mrs. Jacobs in 405B.
FCA is a student-led Christian club that meets on Friday mornings in the library from 7:15-7:45. The first meeting will start on September 6th. All members need an FCA club form signed by their parents. You may pick up a form from Mrs. McKinzie in Room 203. All FCA leaders from last year need to meet with Mrs. McKinzie this Friday morning at 7:15.
Don't forget, if you are interested in joining the yearbook staff, applications are due August 30th. Find applications on the yearbook page on Siegel Middle's website. We especially need applicants in all 6th grade mini-schools, 7C, 8B, and 8C.
If you are interested in being a library worker or a tech help desk worker, please go to the Library Media Center webpage to fill out an online application. You can find it by going to the Siegel Middle School webpage, then click on "Academics" then click Library Media Center: You will see links on that page to the Library Worker Application and the Tech Help Desk Applications. Deadline to apply is Monday. Mrs. Capshaw will choose workers next week and notify you through email and your homeroom teacher.
