The Siegel Family is doing FANTASTIC in Beanstack right now.  Siegel Middle is currently in 1st place in Rutherford County for the month of October!  7th grade is currently leading for October, followed closely by 6th grade and then 8th grade.  Remember: our school wide goal is 500,000 minutes and 95% participation by Christmas break. If we do, we can have extra REC time!  We are currently at 360,000+ minutes and 93% participation.  Keep up the great work!

Also, there is a new challenge in Beanstack for October!  We are partnering with MTSU as Middle Tennessee's mascot, Lightening, is challenging you to become a member of his reading club.  The challenge is simple: read at least 20 minutes a night for 15 days in October.

If you accept and meet the challenge within the month of October, come to the library and see Mrs. Capshaw to get your Certificate of Achievement redeemable for one FREE ticket to the MTSU vs. New Mexico State football game!  Your family will be able to purchase tickets as well for only $10 each.

Report Cards come out today, Friday the 18th.
