It's time to start planning this year's yearbook!  If you're interested in digital design, photography, and working with new people, apply to join the yearbook staff!  We meet from 7:15-7:45 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Go to the SIM website-Students-Clubs & Activities-Yearbook to apply.  Applications are due tomorrow, September 3rd.  We need 6th grade, 7B and 7C to apply!

If you are interested in being a leader for FCA, there will be a meeting after school on September 4th (Thursday) in the cafeteria.  The meeting will start at 3:15 after all remaining is called.  Make sure you have a ride home.

Any student who loves to write anything should plan to attend an info meeting about the Chronicle, our school newspaper.  The meeting will take place from 7:15-7:45 in Mrs. Beightol's room, Room 200.  Students will need a signed permission slip.  They can pick one up during non-academic times from Mrs. Beightol in Room 200.

Calling all future scientists!  Science Olympiad is a competitive team that competes in 23 science and engineering events at MTSU in February.  Events range from anatomy, heredity, electricity to hovercraft, forensics and much more!  See Mrs. Wray in Room 207 for an application.  Details on the Science Olympiad website.

Gamers Inc. will have our first meeting on Wednesday, September 17th, from 3:15-4:30 pm in Room 404.  A signed permission slip is required to attend.  Forms can be picked up in Mr. Hardin's room, Room 304 during non-academic time.
