Dodgeball/kickball signups will begin Friday, May 8th, and run through Wednesday, May 13th. Please see Coach Pruitt in the cafeteria before 7:45 am. Each team will need 10 members, and the roster must be finalized before it is accepted. Cost is $10 per team/$1.00 per person.
Money will be collected for Sprint wristbands on Monday, May 11th and Thursday, May 14th. If you received a wristband through Invest in Your Cavalier fundraiser, Mrs. Baird has already highlighted your name on the envelope. Wristband cost is $25.00.
We would like to welcome all of our Career Day speaks this morning. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to spend the morning with us. Homeroom teachers, you may begin with your first speaker after announcements. We will make an announcement when each rotation is over so your class will know when to change rooms. Students, be sure to ask thoughtful questions and show your appreciation for our visitors this morning.
Principal's List students attending the field trip tomorrow, make sure you go over the information sheet that was given out with your permission form. See Mrs. Mongold if you need another information sheet. You will not need to bring your school backpack tomorrow. You are allowed to bring a bag/backpack to bring what you will need for the field trip. Students, you will need to report to HR tomorrow morning. At 8:20, you will report to the cafeteria for field trip dismissal.
We will have Cross Country tryouts on Monday, June 8th, from 7:00-8:30 am., outside the cafeteria. Please follow all steps on the Siegel Middle School website prior to trying out. Returning runners DO need to try out again.
Our final FCA meeting will be this Friday. I would like to encourage as many people as possible to come out and experience what we do in FCA. I hope to see everyone there Friday.
Water balloons will be available for purchase for $1.00 at Siegel Sprint. Students may throw them at WILLING participants only. All money raised will be used to build a playground at Siegel Middle for our friends with special needs. Cash only. $1.00 each.
Student Council will have a duck pond game during Sprint. You may purchase 3 ping pong balls for $1.00 to toss into containers in a duck pond. Depending on how many land in containers will determine your prize. Prizes will be stickers, candy, yellow rubber ducks and fancy rubber ducks. Don't forget to bring $1.00 bills to Sprint!!
8th grade Choir is full for next year, but there are a few spots still open for 7th grade Choir. 6th graders, please sign up before your laptops are taken away next week. Also, any 6th or 7th grader interested in the musical production of Matilda, Jr. next year can stop by Room 806 during non-academic times to pick up your audition piece to work on this summer.
