Amplify

 

We will be using Amplify ELA this year. Amplify can be accessed through a hard copy and a computer version.  We will take advantage of both types of instruction.  Students will log in to Amplify through Clever and use their state ID (lunch number).  Each student will receive a consumable workbook and a journal.   

 

  Some assignments will be submitted through Amplify.  If an assignment needs to be submitted, they will press the "Hand in" button.  I will receive their work and can provide feedback.  They will still need to go to Skyward to check their grades.  

 

Amplify has some incredible features!  There is a library that contains hundreds of books to read and Apps that reinforce the standards that are taught.  When we complete our Poe unit, there is an "Escape Room" App that I am sure you will enjoy!  The "My Classwork" App serves as a portfolio where all of your submitted work is filed.  You may be asked to retrieve past assignments and edit them.  Amplify is new to Siegel this year, so it will take some patience as we navigate the program together.
