Class Resources 2nd Quarter
Week of 10/03/22:
We reviewed, then took our test on waves.
Week of 10/07/22: Monday we went over the test, and started test corrections.
Tuesday was no school for students.
Wednesday: Phenomenon Day, we looked at cosmographs, maps of the universe, with our groups; we made observations and asked questions about what we saw.
Thursday: We watched a Play Posit as a class and answered questions about the Doppler Effect.
Friday: We started a virtual lab (below) on absorption and emission lines in spectra. Make sure you do the exit ticket on my website.
Instructions and Grades for Week of 10/24/22:
1. Siegel Starter: Get from Powerpoint
2. Textbook Work on Waves: you can print the page, get a copy from me, OR write your answers on a separate sheet of paper
3. Grandma's Memorabilia: Watch the analog/digital video on the powerpoint (10/27) then fill in the answers
4. Forms Exit Ticket on my Welcome Page (website)
5. Start Research Project on TV, Wifi, cell phones, radios
Instructions for Week of Oct. 10th
Read the powerpoint, and be sure to take any notes (vocabulary words). Answer the stations questions on your own paper and turn in if absent Oct. 14th.
Be sure to do the book assignment below as well, starting on p. 97 and ending on p. 105.
